Weekends are for weddings! And when I think of “I thee wed”, couture, and custom fit, I think of @ellapritskercouture.

This shoot was a very special one where I had the privilege of documenting a local business pivot. Where Ella and her team have designed masks as not only perfectly fitting, but beautifully safe

It was more than inspiring for me to be in this creative space. Because this is where the magic happens. It’s where I was able to visually freeze the process! A process where just as much attention to detail, comfort and style was evident, even within a 5”x8” area of facial protection. Check out some of these lovely creations @faceitwithstyle

Be Boss Worthy Photoshoot

As we approach a long weekend of independence celebration, I would like to share a business owner that I had the privilege to meet, photograph and design for.

Her brand @bebossworthy exemplifies independence in many forms. Independence from past situations and hardships. Independence from ones prior self, with a harmonious focus on elevation, recovery and revival.

I admired her mission from the get go….how she intended to feature and boost, women.

Her intention to share their personal journeys, and recycle them into relatable, fueling and educational tools was and is, amazing to me.

Each phrase and piece of art that we designed for her apparel line, shouts strength. They enable the birth of self awareness and self love. and the ability to rely on oneself for affirmation. To begin understanding that the little voice in your head is one you can trust, and ultimately call your North Star

Toxic Masculinity Mens – It’s All in the Details

Do those teeny little details really matter……?

Why yes Sir, they most certainly do!

Not a phrase I even needed to fathom with this multi-inspirational, multi-esthetic, multiprenuer!!! When he came to me with his vision, which is never anything less than epic — I knew where he was going. I could see this brand’s form. I could feel the pulse of its motivation. I could almost smell the palette — crisp, clean, strong, fresh!

THE CLIENT
@toxicmasculinitymens is a men’s apparel and haircare line.

THE MISSION
To cultivate a brand that exemplifies the lessons that his father instilled in him growing up. An almost play on words if you will. Because we were creating an inspiring environment. Where the climate of alpha’ism was regarded as productive, protective, chivalrous, safe, and never, ever toxic. The brand is supposed to inspire, and validate. To boost the drive that every hard working male needs to refuel. A brand that leaves an impression, one where being masculine is not a dirty word.

THE FORM
Had to have the silhouette of a lion. Had to include the TMM abbreviation tightly incorporated within the center. Which could also be used solo. The expression of the lion was drawn to exude: strength, pride, humility, confidence and focus. While the lion’s expression should NOT exude elements of: arrogance, piety, hierarchy or chauvinism. The mane…oh the mane! Needed to be bold and big, but tailored. And an ear must be present, because a strong leader does not lead with his instincts alone.

Chizuk Amuno Congregation Logo Design

Almost designed from the inside out. I was arranging parts for this rebrand with a very detailed message in mind, while maintaining the familiarity of its prior form.

With all of its harmonious meaning coming through, it still needed to cross one more request off the list— to maintain clean elements/lines. And so… the journey begins!

THE WHO
This logo is for a preschool, and part of @Chizukamuno Congregation and Schools.

THE LOOK
From an iconographic standpoint, it was important to incorporate elements that reflected the candelabra arms on the Congregation’s logo. As well as flames, reused from their previous logo, and repurposed to personify the bright, jovial and growing!! All to be encompassed by the Tree of Life form, a great Jewish symbol of numerous, and positive meanings.

THE MEANING
The logo mark portrays how students enter our environment at the root of their childhood. Where things are tightly woven, and when the trust between parent and early educator begins. Through nurturing and often times leaning, on both peers and teachers, the children continue to grow. Then as they approach graduation from preschool, we see them safely branch off, with gradual independence. Yet never too far away from which they came.

Thankful Thursday

Posting my thankful Thursday note a bit early because I know tomorrow is going to be a day of wearing many hats!

As so many of my friends and clients can relate, these days have been filled with new, creative and complicated moments. From how we run our business to how we manage our households.

I’m so grateful for all of this change. For health. For connection with my family that has blossomed and tightened in lots of sweets little ways!

And I’m thankful for the resilience and drive I still see with all of my small business brand builders.

Do What Makes You Happy

I know for so many mompreneurs, right now is this relentless balance between work, teaching, creativity and trying to find the fun (and sanity) from hour to hour! Can you relate!?

Between all of the zoom calls, emails, schoolwork, and snacks, how does one find the time to “feed” their feed

A lot of my clients are in the same boat, asking what can I share to keep up? Feeling behind or anxious about maintaining the post routines that we were once so accustomed to.

My answer on this morning’s call was … DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY and REACH OUT!

Your act of sharing right now may not be in the form of social media posts… It may be a simple drive by to connect, delivery of some functional swag, or an informative newsletter to your contacts. Connection and sharing happen in several beautiful (and abstract) ways.

After all, how you share your business is essentially a fishing net that casts not only examples of your work, but your vibe and your belief system … to see what the Universe wants you to catch! You never know who’s going to pick up on your energy, so just keep casting!
